Some of the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance tasks using proven methods
• Provide mechanical support to all departments throughout the park property
• Operate and drive utility vehicle from warehouse to park property, transporting personnel, materials and equipment

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Using hands on methods the position will be responsible for the daily, weekly, monthly and annual fundamentals of amusement ride maintenance and best practices.
• Maintains mechanical aspects of park attractions to ensure that they operate safely and efficiently.
• Reads and understands inspection procedures and processes.
• Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs.
• Responds to calls for maintenance checks and repairs.
• Inspects various attractions and completes daily checklists.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting ride equipment and controls
• Carry out scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance tasks using proven methods.
• Provide mechanical support to all departments within the park.
• Follow all safety policies in Landry's safety program.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug and background screening.
• High school diploma supplemented by 5 years of experience in mechanical/industrial maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Technical school (2 year degree) in related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate using the English language, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to complete required paperwork on a daily basis.
• Ability to adhere to standard maintenance procedures, policies and best practices.
• Ability to efficiently manage time and work without direct supervision.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of all phases of mechanical work including pneumatics, hydraulics, repair, overhaul, lubrication and preventive maintenance.
• Basic welding preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background check
• Ability to climb heights up to 230 feet.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must provide basic hand tools.
