Some of the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance tasks using proven methods
- Provide mechanical support to all departments throughout the park property
- Operate and drive utility vehicle from warehouse to park property, transporting personnel, materials and equipment
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Using hands on methods the position will be responsible for the daily, weekly, monthly and annual fundamentals of amusement ride maintenance and best practices.
- Maintains mechanical aspects of park attractions to ensure that they operate safely and efficiently.
- Reads and understands inspection procedures and processes.
- Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs.
- Responds to calls for maintenance checks and repairs.
- Inspects various attractions and completes daily checklists.
- Inspecting and troubleshooting ride equipment and controls
- Carry out scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance tasks using proven methods.
- Provide mechanical support to all departments within the park.
- Follow all safety policies in Landry's safety program.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance preferred.
- Must be able to pass a drug and background screening.
- High school diploma supplemented by 5 years of experience in mechanical/industrial maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Technical school (2 year degree) in related field preferred.
- Ability to communicate using the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to complete required paperwork on a daily basis.
- Ability to adhere to standard maintenance procedures, policies and best practices.
- Ability to efficiently manage time and work without direct supervision.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of all phases of mechanical work including pneumatics, hydraulics, repair, overhaul, lubrication and preventive maintenance.
- Basic welding preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Must pass a background check
- Ability to climb heights up to 230 feet.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must provide basic hand tools.
