Job description

Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure and actionable? Then you've come to the right place!

E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of space-powered Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are fundamentally changing the design, economics, manufacturing, coverage limitations and service deliveryassociated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.

By building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system-with a unique antenna design, highly sustainable spacecraft system and low-cost, small portable end-user devices-we can extend global satellite coverage, capacity and connectivity beyond legacy space services to provide a new kind of IoT platform that lets users sense, track, connect and act on information gathered, anywhere.

We're intentional, we're unapologetically curious and we're 100% committed to saving space, protecting our planet and turning connectivity into actionable intelligence.

What is the role:

As a RF Test Engineer, you will be working with a team of satellite antenna engineers and scientists. You will be trained and mentored by senior industry experts. You will be responsible for working closely with the team to plan, set-up, test and document antenna radio frequency and satellite system testing.  You will be responsible for testing antennas for ground terminals as well as space applications. You will wear many hats and learn a variety of skills and processes working in this dynamic, exciting startup environment.

This role is based in our Beverly, MA location and the successful candidate will be required to be in-person in that location the majority of the time.

What you will do:
    • RF experience (telecommunications experience strongly encouraged to apply)
    • Field testing
    • Test set-ups of antennas and system components
    • Working with signal generators and spectrum analyzers to collect performance data.

    • Performing testing inside thermal and T-vacuum chambers
    • Perform testing in outdoor field locations.
    • Set up large scale test environments to simulate real life use.
    • Assembling / soldering electrical components
What you bring to this role:
    • 2 year technical degree or have graduated from a technical vocational high school
    • 3+ years of experience testing and debugging RF and Field testing
    • Experience testing antenna or RF devices
    • Working knowledge on how to test devices utilizing data collection techniques
    • Understanding of how to assemble devices in small to medium volumes
Bonus points:
    • Experience using Rohde & Schwarz signal generators and spectrum analyzers
    • Experience working in a startup environment
Why E-Space is right for you:
