Job Summary:

Falcon’s Creative Group is a diversified global entertainment, consumer experience, and technology enterprise that accelerates intellectual property (IP) activations concurrently across physical and digital experiences.

The Revit/BIM Design Lead will be responsible for creating scaled models, drawings, and drawing packages of the design intent in Revit. This position involves coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to translate creative concepts into technically accurate drawings and models for attractions, entertainment spaces, and full park master plans. The Design Lead collaborates closely with creative, engineering, and production teams to ensure the seamless integration of design intent and technical feasibility, contributing to the successful execution of theme park, attraction, and entertainment projects.

Essential Functions:

  • BIM Strategy
    1. Develop and lead the implementation of BIM technologies and workflows to enhance the immersive experience of theme park attractions and entertainment venues.
    2. Define BIM execution plans that align with the creative vision and technical requirements of each project.
  • Detailed Models and Coordination
    1. Create and oversee the development of detailed BIM models that accurately represent both creative design and technical elements of themed entertainment projects.
    2. Collaborate with show designers, ride engineers, scenic artists, and other stakeholders to integrate different modeled components into the coordinated BIM model.
    3. Manage Revit workflow for specialist sub-consultants to ensure their designs are accurately represented in the coordinated model.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination and Collaboration
    1. Champion interdisciplinary collaboration by managing clash detection, resolving design conflicts, and ensuring the seamless fusion of diverse creative and technical elements.
    2. Collaborate with concept artists, lighting designers, audio engineers, and other specialists to ensure holistic integration of design and technology.
  • Detailed Drawing and Design Package Production
    1. Manage templates, standards, and common elements required for designing themed entertainment and experience products produced by Falcon’s.
    2. Manage the drawing packages created from the Revit model and organize the workflow and review process for all deliverables created from the Revit Model.
    3. Manage and integrate all documentation for the drawing package that is created outside of Revit.
  • Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
    1. Conduct thorough reviews of BIM models to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and creative design intent.
    2. Conduct regular quality checks on BIM content, model accuracy, and data integrity specific to themed entertainment projects.
  • Leadership and Mentorship
    1. Lead and mentor a team of BIM designers, fostering their growth and skill development within the unique context of themed entertainment design.
    2. Provide guidance and support to junior team members to elevate their BIM proficiency and industry understanding.
  • Innovation and Experiential Enhancement
    1. Identify innovative opportunities to leverage BIM technology for enhancing guest experiences and storytelling within themed entertainment projects.
    2. Contribute creative ideas to enhance interactivity, visual effects, and immersive elements through BIM-driven solutions.
  • Documentation and Visualization
    1. Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation related to BIM standards, workflows, and project-specific guidelines.
    2. Produce visually compelling presentations, renderings, and animations to communicate design concepts and technical details to stakeholders.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Themed Entertainment Design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam Studio and other relevant BIM software.
  • Experience preferred in Rhino, Twinmotion, Sketchup, Unreal Engine, and Datasmith.
  • Extensive experience in BIM modeling and coordination within the themed entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of immersive experience design, show set architecture, and technical integration.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to bridge the gap between creative vision and technical implementation.
  • Familiarity with 3D visualization, rendering, and animation tools is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications related to BIM and themed entertainment are a plus.
  • Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
  • Will not require Falcon’s Beyond Global, LLC to commence (“sponsor”) an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).
