Job description

Overview This Revenue Cycle position provides oversight for the practice management system (PMS) conversion to Denticon / Planet DDS under the direction of the VP of Revenue Cycle, or assigned manager. The primary objective is to provide Revenue Cycle guidance to DCA leadership that will ensure accounts receivable (AR) is managed timely and efficiently while maximizing cash collections. Great interpersonal skills are required to build rapport with the staff and various stakeholders. Responsibilities Monitor accounts receivables activity Coordinate billing and collection activities Monitor pre-conversion and post conversion AR & related processes Ensure accurate and timely billing of insurance providers and patients Document, monitor & track medical billing denials from insurance providers Evaluate billing processes and procedures Other duties as assigned Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment during on-site visits with much of the analytical work done remotely at the CBO or at a home office (remote). This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Travel: This role may require some overnight travel that will be planned in advance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: 1 year health-care leadership experience in multi-state/multi discipline organization (higher education degree may substitute experience) Qualifications/Training: Ability to manage a high volume workload while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Adept in resolving complex Accounts Receivable (AR) challenges Knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel. Understanding of basic math skills. Excellent ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, and external customers/stakeholders. Ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Computer, analytical, and organizational skills Employment Type: Full Time
