SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The Revenue Cycle Specialist is part of the Revenue Cycle team and will be responsible for any/all aspects of the Revenue Cycle as it relates to client services. This position will work closely with insurance carriers, clients, site management teams, and the Billing team.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review & ensure accurate insurance eligibility, benefits, and financial information needed for billing and collection processes.
- Follow up with clients as needed to review coverage, benefits, financial responsibility, and collect outstanding balances.
- Enter data accurately and timely into Anasazi.
- Work as a liaison between the programs, insurance carriers, and clients.
- Partner with providers and sites as necessary for enrollment, client financials, or eligibility and authorization.
- Review, analysis, and follow up on reports provided by Director of Revenue.
- Perform frequent and regular follow up on all processes and procedures.
- Execute daily site intakes with insurance verification.
- Complete insurance authorizations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma with 2 years' medical office/billing experience required.
- Experience working with insurance carriers and their websites
- Extensive knowledge of different types of insurance coverage and policies
- Excellent communication & problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detailed oriented and organized.
- Proficient with basic computer systems, networks, and software applications, such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
