Retirement Community Chair Fitness, Tai Chi, And Water Aerobics Instructor

Orion's Fitness is hiring a fitness instructor to lead Chair Fitness, Tai Chi, and Water Aerobics classes at a couple of retirement communities in Baytown, TX.

We are looking for a motivated and energetic instructor to inspire and motivate our senior citizens through exercise. You will motivate them by showing them a world of fun and fitness they never knew existed.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Orion's Fitness classes in various techniques
• Create a fun and memorable experience for the clients
• Ensure that each client is engaged and challenged
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the clients
• Develop relationships with both new and current clients by providing helpful information and encourage communication between them
• Remain current on the latest equipment and techniques
• Encourage all clients to reach for their fullest potential
• Ensure that each client leaves with a new level of knowledge that will help them achieve their own goals
• Follow all safety policies and procedures by the community

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 5 per week
