Job Summary: The INTER_ Retail Associate plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of INTER_’s retail gallery as well as the Creation Station. Creating a positive shopping experience for customers while contributing to the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service is a primary responsibility. This includes greeting customers, helping them find products, answering questions, and addressing concerns or issues.

- Inventory: Conduct routine inventory and provide Manager with items to be repurchased.

- Sales: Actively engaging with customers to promote and sell products. This may involve explaining product features, providing demonstrations, and offering assistance in making purchasing decisions.

- Cash Handling: Processing transactions, handling cash, and providing accurate change. Retail associates may also be responsible for operating cash registers and other point-of-sale systems.

- Stocking and Merchandising: Restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring that products are neatly displayed. Retail associates may also participate in creating attractive product displays.

- Product Knowledge: Staying informed about the products and services offered by the store. This includes knowing details about product specifications, pricing, and any promotions or discounts.

- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the store clean and organized. This involves tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and ensuring that the store's appearance is well-maintained.

- Returns and Exchanges: Processing returns and exchanges according to the store's policies. Retail associates need to assist customers with any issues related to their purchases.

- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Recommending additional products or accessories to customers to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales.

- Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other team members and communicating effectively with management. This may involve participating in team meetings and following store policies and procedures.
- Adhering to Policies and Procedures: Following the store's rules and regulations, including security procedures, dress code, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Previous customer service/retail experience is preferred.
- Knowledge or interest in art and immersive experiences is a plus.
- Basic computer skills for inventory, sales and information systems.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
