As a Softline’s Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for assisting your department in achieving project targets by driving accuracy, displaying sound time management skills, and ensuring the department operates
seamlessly alongside the Softline’s Coordinator. You are responsible for participating in an inspirational culture of high-performance and accountability within your department.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all receiving and distribution of soft lines delivered to warehouse.
- Ability to learn and grow using product knowledge of Intimate Apparel, fashion.
- Working knowledge of POS and Inventory systems.
- Maintaining attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to problem solve and be solution oriented.
- Ensuring your individual productivity is at benchmark or above.
- Completing all tasks assigned to you in a timely and accurate manner.
- Be a motivating and inspiring team member, to share a vision of high performance and a positive work environment.
- Ensuring policies and procedures are carried out accurately and as required.
- Workspace presentation meets and/or exceeds company expectations.
- Communicating with store teams for important products and placement information regarding Softline’s.
- Personal inventory management is accurate consistently.
- All weekly transfers and Low Stock Checks are completed accurately and on time.
- Adhering to posted schedule and following company attendance policy.
- Visiting stores on occasion to assist with directives or projects.
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure work area is accessible and safe for staff traffic.
- Sweep, dust, organize work areas for orderliness at all times.
- Assist shipping and Receiving, unloading trucks, matching purchase orders to sales orders and performs receiving processes for order fulfillment.
- Relabeling, folding and restocking of incoming products or return products.
Requirements
- Must be over the age of 18.
- High attention to detail.
- Comfortable working around adult products.
- Punctual and Dependable.
- Able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude, able to work independently and good interpersonal relations.
- Good physical stamina for work on feet and heavy lifting (up to 50 lb. boxes).
- Basic to Intermediate computer skills: Typing, Excel, Office, Word, etc.
- High School Graduate or GED
