If you’re looking for your next corporate J-O-B to pay the bills, don’t apply. If you want to join a small, local business where team members care about each other and are passionate about doing daily, meaningful work, then please read on!
Who are we?
Optical Illusions is no ordinary eye care practice. We are warriors in the fight against the current epidemic of childhood myopia (nearsightedness). Most eyecare practices know that nearsightedness in kids gets worse year after year, but they don’t have the technology or doctor training necessary to actually do something about it. Parents at our office are thrilled and grateful when they find out there are actual tools at their disposal to change their kids’ vision for life.
We have also invested in innovative technology that directly helps members of our community find chronic migraine headache relief, non-surgical LASIK alternatives, and solutions to poor vision that can only be restored through specialized contact lenses.
In addition to specialty care, we are proud that our patients choose us for our exceptional service and state-of-the-art vision products. We offer high-quality and fashion-forward frames, the latest prescription lens technology and premium contact lens materials, which is not available at big-box chain opticals.
No Experience Needed!
Your soft skills are much more valuable to us than your hard skills, therefore, no eye-care or optical experience is necessary! We are invested in our team’s growth and strive to constantly provide the best training. To fit in, you should expect to have passion, enthusiasm, quick-learning and self-direction in order to take advantage of our training resources and become an expert in your new field.
How will you make a difference?
As a new team member, you will initially learn our front desk administrative role. This will give you the incredible honor of setting the stage for each patient. You will learn how to provide our 5-star phone service to each patient who calls. When patients arrive at our office, you will be the first person they see to reassure them they have made the right decision in choosing our practice. You will set the tone for their exam as you get them checked in and ready.
As your training advances, you will learn how to use our technology to serve patients prior to seeing the doctor. You will also learn how to assist patients with their prescribed treatment plans, including helping them choose their newest glasses.
If these sound like you, please apply!

Compensation & Benefits
We love rewarding our team members as they become more productive! When we take care of our patients, business does well, and that creates the opportunity to benefit our team members in return. We offer all our team members a competitive base pay, as well as the opportunity to grow their income through a performance-based incentive plan or profit sharing.
As a proud small business, we don’t pretend to compete with large corporate benefit packages, but we do offer PTO, a generous vision benefit and an amazing team culture, which means you will be treated like an actual human being and not a cog in a corporate machine.
