Retail Sales Associate Sawgrass Mills Shopping Center

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Store Sales Associate to join our furniture slipcover company. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Retail Sales experience. We’ll train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Must have knowledge of the products that we carry, all their features and benefits.

- Deliver exceptional in-store shopping experiences

- Build a highly satisfied and loyal customer base through engagement, uncovering needs, making product recommendations, and gathering customer information to support continued engagement.

- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales and achieve targets.

- Provide prompt assistance and resolve customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner.

- Complete sales transactions and maintain proper accountability at the registers.

- Inform customers about discounts and special offers.

- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including visual merchandising and product displays.

- Monitor inventory levels, and ensure accurate stock counts.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in Retail Sales, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry.

- A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus.

- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

- Hands-on experience with POS transactions.

- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Spanish is a plus.

- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to handle customer complaints or issues.

- Proficient in inventory management and visual merchandising.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Availability to work mall hours, including weekends and holidays.

- A high school degree; would be a plus.
