Retail Sales Associate - Saddlery & Western Store

Chicks Saddlery is seeking part-time associates for our retail store located in Harrington, Delaware.

Horse experience is required. Qualified applicants must have a working knowledge of horses and horse equipment, as well as familiarity with Western and English saddlery, tack, and riding apparel. Must be computer literate and able to work well with others.

Store Hours: 10 am - 6 pm. Retail store operates Tuesday through Sunday. Minimum one weekend day required. Schedule will be set depending on your availability -- work 1 day or up to 4 days depending on your requirements.

We are looking for a mature, hard-working individual with an assertive and energetic personality. Must have a passion for sales and believe in true customer service.

Applicant must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be proficient with computers, possess basic math skills, have a polite and sociable demeanor, and be flexible to work in other positions depending on operational needs.

Daily tasks include assisting customers with purchases, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, operation of cash register, receiving, marking and displaying merchandise, restocking and other duties.

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
