Retail Sales Associate-Moomin Shop Hawaii

Moomin Shop Hawaii, is looking to hire Sales Associates to join our Moomin Family.

We are looking for a smart and positive part-time sales person with a great personality to join our Moomin family at Ala Moana Center.

Must be responsible, trustworthy and a team player with computer skills and aloha spirit. If you love to talk to people and have a passion for Moomin, this could be the job for you!

Job Description

• Provide the best possible shopping experience for all guests.
• Meet and/or exceed sales targets
• Standard opening and closing procedures.
• Maintaining store standards and participate in merchandising of new product.
• Maintaining/Enhancing current customer relationships.
• Be able to work the following shifts: opening (9:30am - 3:00pm) & closing (3:00pm - 8:30pm) including nights/weekends/holidays

All retail employees at Moni Moana are responsible for:

• Driving top line store sales results and growing the business through action and productivity
• Creating customer awareness of programs and promotions available to them to build customer loyalty, when applicable
• Preparing for each shift by maintaining awareness of all sales, promotions, and applicable POS procedures
• Taking initiative to recover and replenish merchandise, so it is available to sell
• Assisting in housekeeping of sales floor and communicating maintenance issues
• Keeping an awareness of, and building personal capability in, loss prevention
• Supporting all activities related to providing a safe working environment
• Understanding and demonstrating Company values

Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years retail experience and/or customer service
• Japanese speaker a plus
