Reports to: Store Manager

OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate will be the face of the company when customers enter the store and are responsible for welcoming customers, maintaining floor appearance, identifying customer's needs, directing customers to goods, while offering other useful products for sale and operating cash register/POS system. To ensure that company sales goals are achieved and/or exceeded, to increase sales by upselling, and to ensure the accuracy of inventory/stock. They will also be responsible for working with the Buying team for stock replenishment, working with the Marketing team for promotions, and ensuring the merchandise is displayed in a neat, organized, and captures the visual esthetic of the brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

• Assess customers’ needs; provide assistance and information on product features.

• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries.

• Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

• “Go the extra mile” to drive sales.

• Maintain assigned areas stocked and in presentable condition.

• Actively seek out customers in store

• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.

• Process POS (point of sale) purchases

• Cross sell products

• Handle returns of merchandise.

• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.

• Build productive trust relationships with customers.

• Comply with inventory control procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma

• A positive attitude and a willingness to be at work on time each day of your schedule. (willingness to pick up additional shifts as needed)

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

• Proficiency in English

• Basic Math skills

• Hands-on experience with POS transactions

• Familiarity with inventory procedures

• Solid communication and interpersonal skills

• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus

• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner

• Availability to work flexible shifts

• Ability to clear background check for Airport badge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
