Job Description:

At Snackz, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Retail Sales Associate/Budtender who is enthusiastic about fashion and cannabis. This role requires a person with prior knowledge of cannabis, sneakers, and fashion. As a crucial member of our retail team, you will deliver exceptional customer service, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of both fashion trends and cannabis products to assist customers in finding the perfect pair of sneakers and the cannabis or mushroom products that best meet their needs and preferences.

Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers to understand their style and cannabis preferences and guiding them through our product selections to make informed purchases. The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid understanding of both the fashion and cannabis retail niches, capable of creating a memorable shopping experience for every customer.

Responsibilities:

- : Deeply understand and stay informed on the latest in both our cannabis products and urban fashion lines. This includes staying up-to-date on the latest sneaker releases, trends, and brands with a particular emphasis on Jordans, Nike Dunks, New Balance, and Yeezys. For the dispensary aspect, maintain expertise in cannabis consumption methods, the differences between Indicas vs. Sativas, and provide in-depth information on our current menu to assist customers effectively.

- : Greet and assist customers with a positive and knowledgeable demeanor. Engage with customers to understand their preferences and guide them through both the cannabis and fashion selection process, providing personalized recommendations based on their style, needs, and preferences, ensuring every interaction is friendly and approachable, providing a memorable shopping experience

- : Drive sales by actively promoting and upselling products, ensuring customers are informed about the latest and most relevant products and promotions to their interests, thereby enhancing their shopping experience.

- : Perform daily tasks to maintain an appealing and welcoming shopping environment, including dusting, cleaning, and organizing the sales floor.

- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, restocking shelves, and ensuring product displays are visually appealing and organized, keeping the store's appearance up to our high standards.

- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments with precision, and ensuring a seamless checkout experience.

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store. This includes participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, company policies, and sales strategies.

- Foster positive relationships with customers, providing excellent service, and addressing any concerns or inquiries with professionalism and care.

- : Strictly adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products, including verifying customer identification and ensuring compliance with age restrictions.

Qualifications:

- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or retail/sales experience preferred.

- Passion and knowledge of the cannabis industry and urban fashion is a must.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling, ensuring accurate transactions and financial integrity.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized store, contributing to a pleasant shopping environment.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

- Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or sales environment is a plus.

- Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management software.

- Must be able to pass a background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 39 per week
