JOB SUMMARY
SAINT CROIX, is looking for a professional individual with personal style and retail experience to work at our historic downtown La Crosse, WI, store. We are looking for someone with the flexibility to work 20 – 25 hours per week. Availability for evenings and weekends is required.
Must be outgoing, welcoming, and driven and enjoy building strong customer relations. You will be expected to merchandise apparel to create a look based on fashion, color and individual style.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Opening and closing duties.
- Communicate daily with the Store Manager and Store Associates to ensure open communication and consistent customer service.
- Complete all tasks given in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide accurate product knowledge to customers while offering additional suggestions based on what is learned through qualifying questions.
- Manage each sales process from beginning to end with professionalism and care.
- Meet and exceed personal monthly sales goals.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling all customer interactions professionally, whether in the store, over the phone, or responding to email or social media posts.
- Work with the Marketing Team to create engaging content for the local social media pages.
- Create unique displays and help organize the store and merchandise.
- Light cleaning.
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High School education or GED
- 1 years of retail experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
CONTACTS: External and Internal contacts – Continuously (67 - 100%)
Contacts involve giving or exchanging information of a limited controversial nature.
Regularly
- Communicates via phone, email, in person.
- Required to stand for long periods of time – stocking inventory, merchandising, customer service.
- Operates a computer and other office equipment such cash register, printer.
Frequently
- Talk and hear to coordinate day-to-day phone and in person transactions
Occasionally
- Required to sit, perform keyboard work, for prolonged periods of time.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Standard retail environment. The noise level is usually low, due to office equipment.
