Job Description:

Retail Sales Associate (Part Time)

Tasks listed below are to be completed on a daily basis. Not limited to these tasks; other tasks may be required

• Greeting and assisting customers with a smile
• Offering great customer service
• Having a good understanding of the product and pricing
• Recommending the best product for a customer’s specific needs
• Processing cash or card transactions on the register
• Completing opening and closing procedures
• General cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and dusting
• Providing feedback with coworkers and management on customer needs
• Answering phone calls
• Restocking products on display

Requirements:

The minimum requirements for this position are listed below:

• 21+ years of age
• Punctual with a positive attitude
• Basic computer proficiency
• Reliable transportation
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 20 pounds without assistance
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good time management for tasks
• Attention to detail

Although not required, best applicants will also have:

• Ability to problem solve with a sense of urgency
• Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn
• 1 year of retail experience
• 1 year of POS experience

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Language: English (Required)

Compensation: Hourly Rate $16.00

Schedule:

• Sunday - Saturday (7am-12am Midnight)
• Evenings and/or weekends required
• Overtime may be required
