SUMMARY
The Retail Sales Agent ("Agente de Ventas") welcomes our guests with a warm and friendly smile. Proactively provides our guests with personal service and attention that exceeds their expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Carefully listens to the guest and provides assistance in fulfilling guest needs.
- Answers the phone in a friendly and courteous manner and assists guests with their requests.
- Is knowledgeable with respect to retail inventory and able to respond to questions and requests in an informed way.
- Accurately records all transactions and performs end of shift procedures.
- Ensures all retail products are well displayed for the guest.
- Fosters a sales-focused mentality and strives to increase sales by assisting guests with impulse add-on purchases and by discussing the benefits and features of items for sales with customers.
- Responsible for issued bank.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training. If no educational background, at least 1 year.
- A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
- Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
- Must be able to attain a valid San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire. Evans Hotels will provide this training and is to be completed at the company’s expense.
- RBS certification required.
- Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
