Lovisa Opportunity:
The day to day in this role will look like:
- Financial coding for all Property related invoices including but not limited to rent, outgoings, taxes etc.
- Responsible for coordinating weekly rental and electricity payment files to Accounts Payable on timely basis.
- Responsible for updating weekly rental payment files in Lease Eagle.
- Accountable in maintaining data integrity in Lease Eagle.
- Approval of electricity invoices.
- Preparation of Country monthly/yearly turnover certificates to Landlord.
- Maintain close relationship with Landlord and maintain up to date statement.
- Support and work alongside other members of the Leasing, Property and Finance departments.
- Roll over of Country monthly expense accrual files.
- Accurate recognition of Prepayments for any payment made in advance.
- Accurate recognition of an accruals where required.
- Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliation.
- Participation in the half yearly recording of AASB16: Leases with the Accountant for your region.
Skills we are looking for:
- Several years' work experience in assistant accountant capabilities to ensure sound accounting knowledge.
- Good understanding of prepayment and accruals.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and pro-actively in a close team environment.
- A quest for excellence, high attention to detail, accuracy, consistency and organisation
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the confidence to engage with stakeholders.
- Able to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet business requirements and objectives.
- Excellent team player who treats everyone with respect.
- Experience with a property management software application (preferably Lease Eagle).
