Retail Event Specialist - Entry Level

Our retail team is expanding to keep up with the demand from our clients and retail partners and has an immediate opening for an Entry LevelRetail Event Specialist. The Entry LevelRetail Event Specialist role is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves working with people, has excellent communication skills, and has a natural ability to build relationships with anyone they meet. The Entry LevelRetail Event Specialist will work on-site at one of our in-store Retail Events, representing our clients and being the first point of contact for new and existing customers.

Entry-Level Retail Event Specialist Responsibilities:

• Work with fellow Retail Event Specialists to engage with potential customers inside membership only retailers
• Create an eye-catching Retail Event that aims to draw the attention of potential customers
• Provide additional information to potential customers, answer any questions they may have, and generate interest and excitement around our clients and their home remodel services
• Develop an understanding of our target audience and tailor your approach to meet their specific needs
• Participate in hands-on, paid training opportunities with senior members of our team
• Follow all compliance standards as required by our retail partners, client and company

Entry LevelRetail Event Specialist Preferred Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Some college coursework is preferred but not required
• At least some retail experience is required
• At least 1 year of experience working in a hospitality, customer service, or sales role is preferred
• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain your professionalism at all times
• Previous experience in home improvement or construction is a plus

Entry-Level Retail Event Specialist Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working directly with customers in a retail environment
• Must be able to travel locally
• Must be able to start immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
