Event Sales Specialist

Starting Pay Range: $19-$23/Hr

Full Time/Part Time: Part Time

As an Events Sales Specialist, you are responsible for overseeing all Events Sales in the Center, which include birthday parties, school events, private or corporate theater or whole-Center buyouts, and FatCats' brand-initiated events. As an Events Sales Specialist, you are expected to be a passionate brand ambassador to our guests and team members. Events are an important part of our business, and your role is integral to the Center's achieving its revenue and growth goals that meet or exceed Company's strategic objectives. This position reports to the General Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Dutiesand Responsibilities

  • Sell both birthday and corporate events to guests who want to host a party at FatCats.
  • Work collaboratively with center-level management team to identify, track, meet and even exceed Center's revenue goals consistently.
  • Work closely with the Senior Sales Manager of the Center to find creative ways to build relationships with the community and discover new markets for parties and events.
  • Assist in sales and community outreach by making cold calls and acquiring marketing booth spaces in local community events.
  • Achieve and maintain mandated company sales standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Oversee your team's successful execution of Events Sales which include inbound and outbound sales calls, scheduling, billing, and scheduling team members for booked events.
  • Collaborate with the food and beverage team in maintenance and growth of event offerings.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all managers and team members to reach common goals.
  • Reports to Senior Sales Manager and has weekly one-on-ones to discuss sales, budgets, operations, and Team Member performance/growth plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Two (2) to three (3) years outbound sales experience with a proven track record of sales performance.
  • Events sales experience a plus.
  • Personable but professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and to problem solve effectively.
  • Proven ability in leadership, communication, and negotiating skills.
  • Take initiative as a self-starter known to work with integrity while also being a strong team player.
  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset.
  • High EQ with self-awareness, ability to collaborate with others, listen attentively, empathize with others, defuse conflict, show adaptability, and demonstrate good judgment.
  • Computer literate with ability to pick up new software programs and applications easily.
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required).
  • Able to lift 35 pounds.
