The Mustard Seed Thrift on Mission is a faith-based organization founded to help heal the wounds of sexual abuse through counseling, education, and support. Our thrift store is more than just a place to find unique treasures; it's a place where compassion, sustainability, and purpose converge.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service:
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Provide information and assistance about merchandise, promotions, and our mission.
• Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and courtesy.

• Sales and Merchandising:
• Pricing and tagging merchandise.
• Arranging and maintaining displays to create an appealing shopping environment.
• Restocking and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
• Operating the cash register and handling cash transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.

• Support our Mission:
• Educating customers about the impact of their purchases.
• Encouraging donations of gently used items to support our mission.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A positive and friendly attitude with a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
• A passion for community service, sustainability, and supporting a charitable mission.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Expected hours: 5 – 32 per week
