Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a
Retail Store Associate. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, including
availability for afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This position will initially start
as part-time with the potential for full-time hours once the store opens.
Responsibilities:
Retail Sales and Customer Connection:
-Engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
-Build connections with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
-Provide excellent customer service, answer product-related inquiries, and
assist customers in finding the right natural healthcare products.
- Address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
-Participate in training to learn how to offer a world-class experience for our
customers.
Product Knowledge:
-Undergo extensive training to become familiar with Earthley Wellness
products.
-Stay informed about new product releases, features, and the benefits of
natural healthcare products.
-Be comfortable using technology to assist customers seeking more
information via our quizzes and other digital materials.
Community Outreach:
-Represent Earthley Wellness at farmers markets and other community events
to raise awareness of the brand and upcoming store opening.
-Connect with local natural health practitioners and businesses to introduce
Earthley Wellness to the community and build strong relationships.
Training and Staff Development:
-Assist in training new staff as the store opening approaches.
-Share product knowledge and customer connection techniques with the
team.
Store Setup and Maintenance:
-Contribute to the setup of the physical store, ensuring a welcoming and
organized retail space that aligns with brand standards.
-Help maintain a clean and inviting store environment for customers.
-Participate in store-based events such as DIY projects, classes, and
educational initiatives.
-Maintain scheduling for and assist with set up and break down for store-based
events.
Flexible Work Location:
-Acknowledge that the physical place of work may vary until the store opens,
including participating in farmers markets and community events.
Sales Reporting:
-Track and report sales data as required, helping to identify trends and areas
for improvement.
-Accurately handle customer transactions.
-Meet sales goals set by store management.
Adaptability:
-Be adaptable to a flexible schedule, including afternoons, evenings, and
weekends, to accommodate customer needs and special events.
-Do what you say you are going to do – provide a schedule you feel confident
you can work and stick to it.
Promotions and Marketing:
-Support promotional activities and marketing initiatives to drive store
awareness and sales.
Team Collaboration:
-Work collaboratively with the team to create a positive and cohesive work
environment.
Store Setup and Location:Contribute to the setup of the physical store, ensuring an inviting and
organized retail space.

Qualifications:
-Previous retail experience, preferably with an emphasis on customer
connection.
-Flexible schedule with availability for afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Comfortable interacting with customers and answering product-related
questions.
