Retail Assistant Manager
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Supervise and train retail staff to deliver exceptional service
- Maintain inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels
- Handle cash register operations and perform cash handling duties
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
- Implement training and development programs for retail team members
- Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets
- Assist in visual merchandising and store layout planning
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Proficient in cash register operations and basic math skills
- Knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling and record keeping
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and lead a team effectively
- Experience in recruiting, training, and developing employees
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet targets
- Familiarity with inventory control principles and practices
