Are you passionate about restoring properties and helping homeowners and businesses recover from water damage and mold issues? We are seeking a dedicated Water & Mold Technician to join our team. As a Water & Mold Technician, you will play a vital role in mitigating damage caused by water intrusion and ensuring the health and safety of occupants by implementing effective remediation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections to assess water damage and mold growth.
- Utilize specialized equipment for water extraction and drying processes.
- Perform mold remediation procedures, including cleaning and disinfecting affected areas.
- Assist in the restoration of damaged structures and materials.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessment, remediation, and restoration efforts.
- Communicate effectively with property owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to industry regulations and safety protocols to ensure compliance and safety.
- Properly maintain and service equipment used in remediation processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements through continuous education and training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in water damage restoration and mold remediation is preferred.
- Previous experience in water damage restoration, mold remediation, or a related field is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
