ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to emergency services (tarp, board-up, and water mitigation) both during and after normal business hours. Ability to lift and move equipment and mitigation materials 50 pounds or more.
- Follow IEP mold remediation protocols and review estimate and engineered controls for abatement.
- Provides quality control on all emergency service mitigation jobs.
- Instituting best practices and following all IICRC S500 and S520 guidelines.
- Photo documentation both digital and infrared imaging.
- Monitors equipment and material inventories.
- Contacts customers via phone and email.
- Contacts new emergencies and assignments to gather pertinent data from customers.
- Communicate with estimators and adjusters.
- Report daily activities to ESS.
- Tracks water mitigation data.
- Ability to accurately sketch the mitigation area.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Ability to multitask and deliver results under pressure.
- Ability to access a multitude of different water damage situations.
- Create and implement drying plans.
- Calculate GPP and properly document drying conditions.
- Ability to operate thermal imaging equipment and hygrometers.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including ability to use tablets, Excel, and job management software.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to perform this job successfully:
- Mold certified.
- High School diploma.
- 4+ years’ experience in the water, fire & mold restoration industry.
- IICRC certifications WRT & AMRT (preferred), FSRT & ASD (preferred).
- Experience in mold remediation is preferred.
- Extensive field, construction, and customer service experience.
- Organized and able to focus on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and PPE guidelines.
- Required to travel as needed including CAT situations.
- Ability to stand, bend and kneel repeatedly for extended periods of time.
- Driving record must meet RRT criteria.
