Restoration Technician

Restoration 1 of OKC is seeking candidates for Restoration / Mitigation Technicians. Main duties include emergency response, mitigation and cleanup of properties damaged by fire, water and mold. Restoration 1 of OKC is located in Yukon, OK. We are looking to hire a Restoration Technician possessing an in-depth knowledge of nearly all aspects of property restoration. This individual will help us improve our capability to render professional-level service in a timely and quality manner. This is a critical position that will allow us to sustain our competitive edge in the restoration marketplace
Responsibilities:

• Perform production/restoration process per work order and crew chief instructions
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean equipment
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Communicate openly with crew chief and other technicians
• 24 hour Emergency Mitigation Services are offered in the Oklahoma City metro, so this position will carry a rotating, weekly on call schedule for after hours and weekend work. Regular schedule is 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, but must be flexible to work any time of day and any day of the week as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to exhibit a high attention to detail ensuring the highest quality of workmanship throughout restoration projects.
• Ability to perform water/fire/mold damage cleaning tasks.
• Understand and execute work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Ability to operate efficiently with minimum supervision.
• Must have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to participate in all training as needed or required.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to provide crew leaders and company management with timely and accurate information related to the progress and status of projects.
• A clean, valid driver's license required.
• IICRC Certification (Cleaning and Restoration Certification) is a plus.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
