Restoration Estimator

We are seeking a Restoration Estimator to join our team! You will oversee project walk throughs and estimating.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections for repairs/ mitigation estimating as needed
• Consulting with customers, adjusters and affiliates as needed
• Creating scopes of work, estimates, photo sheets and necessary paperwork for mitigation/repair jobs
• Writing initial estimates, revisions, and supplements as needed and updating status in appropriate portals and files
• Following up with status of approvals up until billing
• Communicating with adjusters/customers as needed during the course of review/approval
• Reviewing estimates at the completion of project to ensure accuracy
• Communicating with all necessary parties both internal and external in order to streamline assignments/jobs

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
• Previous experience in property insurance preferred
• Experience with estimating in Xactimate and Symbility
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
