The Counter Burger - Santa Monica is looking for new Counter Server/Supervisor to join our team! Must have a great work ethic and an outgoing personality. • FULL Weekend is a must. You will be required to work holidays & weekends (Friday-Sunday AM or PM) when neccessary. Most shifts we are looking to fill will be between Friday-Monday, Sunday Availability is a requirement.
• 4-5 shifts (8-30 hours) per week; lunch, dinner, and weekends available.
• GREAT Working hours that are flexible with school schedules... Lunch shifts range between 10:30am-5pm, and Dinner shifts are between 4pm-10pm (The restaurant closes at 9pm!)
• Must have reliable transportation and be on time to your shifts
• $17/hr + Tips for counter server shifts
• $22/hr + for Supervisor shifts depending on experience
• *** Supervisor role: Our ideal candidate will be able to work mainly supervisor shifts, with an occasional counter server shift/server shift to fill in any gaps in the schedule.***
• MUST be able to legally pour and serve alcohol
• Basic Supervisory responsibilities will be expected of you, but not limited to: cash handling, meeting labor expectations, handling guest relations, staff training, etc.
• You will be expected to think quickly and adapt to situations that arise, to solve problems adequately and efficiently.
• Understand and know when you need to change gears and move quicker or when it’s ok to move slower
• Delegate your team in a manner that is effective and direct yet respectful
