Position Title: Bartender, Cook, Prep Cook, Food Runner/Busser, Dishwasher
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager

Primary Responsibilities:
· Take guest orders in a timely fashion with accuracy, assist cook with preparation of orders, assist cook with preparation of menu ingredients.
· Follow Cape Leisure’s Cash Handling policy
· Clean kitchen, kitchen equipment and storage areas at the end of each day as required.
· Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, including but not limited to food temperatures, proper food labeling, avoidance of food contamination, proper storage, and general cleanliness of the kitchen and storage facilities, and hygiene of food service staff.
· Maintain a good knowledge of the Park and current events in order to expedite guest inquiries.
· Other duties as required.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
· Bartender- experience in a fast-paced restaurant: 1 year preferred but will train the right person. Pay based on experience and skills. Cook- 1 year experience required.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Culinary training a plus.
· Food Handler or Manager Certification required. We will provide class for food handler certification and pay for Manager Certification class if required for your position.
· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend for an entire 8 to 10 hour shift. Tasks require consistent use of both arms and legs.
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and carry for short distances.
· Must be willing to tolerate working outdoors (hot or cold temperatures) and in warm interior environment.
· Must be able to visually inspect condition of facilities and equipment.

Job Duties:
- Take guest orders using point-of-sale system
- Assist cook with order assembly, following recipe and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Uniform:
- Employer-supplied hairnets and gloves
- Employer-supplied uniform shirt, hat, aprons
- Khaki or Black pants (no jeans)
