Restaurant Server/Cashier

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server to join our team at a busy restaurant. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, taking their orders, and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.

Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks to guests promptly
- Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Upsell additional items or specials to increase sales
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Follow food safety guidelines and handle food with care
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- Address guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using cash registers or POS systems
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Server or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old (or as per legal requirements)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Pay: From $150.00 per day

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
