Job Overview:
As a team member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, delivering food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, make recommendations, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Enter orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system and ensure they are transmitted to the kitchen promptly.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues.
- Prepare and deliver the check to guests, process payments accurately, and handle cash transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including resetting tables and ensuring adequate supplies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, cleanliness, and professionalism.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required to enhance job knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role required; on-the-job training will however be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus and willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications:
- Food handler's certificate
- Tabc certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
