Overview:We are currently seeking experienced and driven candidates just like you to serve at our Overlook Restaurant located inside the beautiful Black Rock Mountain Resort.
You will play a key role to ensure a great guest experience. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, a supportive work environment, plus numerous opportunities for professional development and advancement.
Job Responsibilities
As a server, you will serve food and/or beverages to customers while providing exceptional guest service.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
- Greet guests; give a clear and correct description of breakfast options.
- Deliver hot-to-order items from the kitchen to tables.
- Input orders into the micros terminal.
- Observe guests and respond to any additional requests and to determine when the meal has been completed.
- Properly record all sales transactions and secure accurate payment.
- Complete daily inventory prep sheet.
- Familiarize and be knowledgeable of current food and beverage offerings.
- Escort guests to tables as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures, i.e. product rotation, dating, labeling, and cleaning.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant areas.
- Provide information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel to guests.
Job Requirements
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be available to work Mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends & holidays shifts.
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
