Responsibilities and Job Duties
- Provide full table service.
- Provide descriptions, explanations, and recommendations to our guests.
- Master our counter product list and the full menu
- Enter orders in our Point of Sale system and deliver food and beverages to guests.
- Will be cross-trained on bussing, hosting, expo, and basic barista/bartending. Servers will be asked to fulfill these duties at times.
- Ability to offer the polish and professionalism of fine-dining and blend that with a quick pace and high volume. Assure that guests needs are met
- Communicate with team members effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- The health and safety of our guests and team are of the utmost priority. We expect high support and high accountability with exceeding health department standards. One needs to have a sharp focus on sanitation and security. We ask that you have an adaptable, creative, and compliant approach to the needs of our team during Covid-19.
Skills and Qualifications
- Serving experience. Food and beverage knowledge and expertise.
- Quick, time-efficient, organized, and great at multitasking and time management
- Excellent interpersonal skills with guest and employees
- Warm, inviting presence and personality. Guests should be able to tell there is a warm smile on the other side of the mask.
Requirements
- Must be of the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (21 or over)
- Flexible availability
- Weekend Availability
- Stamina to work demanding shifts.
- Quick learner of technology used to manage the business
Preferences
- Experience in a high-volume setting
- 1-2 years in food and beverage or hospitality
- Food handlers card and alcohol seller permit will be required upon hire date
