Restaurant Manager/Shift Supervisor

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including the kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving overall restaurant performance

Experience:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or Shift Manager in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food handling and safety regulations
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
