Restaurant Manager

Floor Manager for New AYCE Shabu Concept in the heart of Chinatown! This is an elevated concept (think Vegas-style buffet), so experienced managers only, please.

You will be joining an executive team that has decades of restaurant experience, bringing an elevated atmosphere to traditionally casual shabu shabu buffets. We need a strong management team to oversee a staff of 70+! Check out our website for concept photos to see our vibe. www.shabuen.com

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Hire, train, and oversee FOH staff
- Enforce policies in employee manuals, cleaning charts, sidework sheets, etc.
- Adhere to all rules, regulations, and policies set forth by the Houston Health Department and other such governing bodies
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality service standards
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and mentor staff to provide exceptional customer service
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production and timely delivery of orders
- Coordinate and manage banquet events, catering services, and coffee bar operations
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment

Experience:
- 3+ years previous experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry is required
- Strong knowledge of service etiquette, FOH operations, bar, and HR policies
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and meeting financial goals
- Ability to coach, guide, and train staff to uphold strict service guidelines

*MUST have 3+ years experience managing a large team in a full-service restaurant setting!!
