Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ordering of all beverage items based on set pars and upcoming events.
- Weekly inventory of beverage items
- Inventory evaluations with general manager
- Maintain income and expense logs
- Develop and execute profit producing weekly promotions
- Liaise with the kitchen staff for food items/orders
- Ensure proper security arrangement
- Constantly work to improve the hygiene standards and service at the bar
- Create new and innovative ideas to boost bars income
- Train and guide new staff
- Review bar operations, plan special events and set liquor prices.
- Plan promotions and offers to increase the customer base of the bar
- Handle all guest service issues in an immediate and professional manner
- Ensure that the bars comply with relevant state and federal guidelines
- Deliver excellent customer service in an efficient manner
- Maintain updated knowledge of hotel and general local area information
- Act in a professional manner
- Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 5 years of related management experience in the restaurant industry.
- Previous hospitality Industry experience required. Craft beer and craft cocktail experience a plus.
While performing the duties of this job, the manager is required to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. The employee may frequently be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch for the duration of shift. The ability to balance will also be required in the delivery of food and drinks. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
Qualifications:
5 years in the hospitality industry as a Manager in recent years. Heavy concentration on bar sales, craft beer and craft cocktails.
Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must be detail oriented, possess strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to multitask. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, holiday and nights.
Skills:
*Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

*Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
