Restaurant Manager

This position is for a new store opening in Texarkana, TX. You must live or be willing to move within 30 minutes of this store. Estimated opening is in July/ August. Training will begin in May. We will not be starting this position until May. You must be able to train at either the Longview, TX location or Tyler, TX location. Hotel stay will be provided during training to reduce travel. Must have prior Restaurant Manager experience, preferably in fast food.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Set policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
• Experience in planning and budgeting
