Location: Schaumburg, IL
Work hour: Shift Schedule
Salary: $42K - $45K to start.
A global Japanese chain restaurant company is seeking an Assistant Manager. This position offers a great opportunity for entry-level individuals to progress to a managerial role in the future.
Responsibilities:
Oversee restaurant operations to ensure a great guest experience.
Supervise kitchen and wait staff, providing assistance as needed.
Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff.
Prepare shift schedules and process time sheets for all restaurant staff.
Maintain detailed records of daily, weekly, and monthly costs and revenues.
Arrange for new employees' proper onboarding, including scheduling trainings and ordering uniforms.
Understand and practice safe food handling procedures.
Qualifications:
Lead Experience in restaurant and/or hospitality industry required.
Communication and team management abilities.
Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus
