The Crown Is Yours
We are looking for a Responsible Gaming Analyst to help us build and enhance our risk management practices. This role will report to the manager of Responsible Gaming analytics andfocus onresponding to critical issues across DraftKings. We're looking for an individual who is passionate about working with data, excited in investigating DraftKings' potential risks, and desires to pull recommendations from data that can make DK products better for both DK and our customers. You will partner with various groups, including product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to support protecting our customers and the company from undue risks.
What you'll do as a Responsible Gaming Analyst
- Perform large-scale studies to identify potential risk signals in customers or populations of customers.
- Develop scores and alerts to flag players who may hit high-risk thresholds.
- Create and support SQL pipelines and dashboards that will support internal alerts.
- Perform ad hoc analyses on high-risk events to support compliance and operations activities.
- Support player protection operations team by building reports and KPIs to identify process shortcomings and opportunities.
- Develop dashboards, data pipelines, and simple models to refine DraftKings' Responsible Gaming program and support our player protection team.
- Support alerting on risky events, investigating Responsible Gaming incidents, and jurisdictional compliance standards in Responsible Gaming.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or another relevant discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience doing analytical project work.
- Experience conducting exploratory data analysis (querying data, aggregating/merging data, and evaluating for specific insights)
- Good communication skills and ability to work closely with partners across departments.
- Knowledge of sports betting, fantasy sports, online casino.
- Proficient with SQL or an eagerness to quickly learn.
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau or another similar visualization tool.
- Experience developing models in R, Python, SAS, or other similar software is not required but would be an added bonus!

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $62,400.00 - $93,600.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
