The Respite Worker provides direct care to an adult male in the Worcester, MA area with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The Respite worker provides direct care outside the home by safely implementing a specific aspect of the service plan.
Client has limited speech but understand Spanish and some English. Seven Hills will provide all training necessary to safely support this gentleman due to his clinical/behavioral needs.
An Ideal candidate would be available one to two times per week 2-3 hour shift (Monday through Friday) 3:30pm-5:30pm and/or occasional weekends. Schedule is very flexible.
The specific duties for this adult male are to safely support them in the community for short outings such as walks, gardening and other preferred activities.

Responsibilities:
- Provide safe one to one direct care per the service plan.
- Provide socialization and physical activity opportunities outside of home.
- Perform all necessary self-care tasks as needed by the individual supported.
- Provide required documentation to coordinator in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- 18+ years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License & Good Driving Record
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Per State regulations, qualifications determined by individual family
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
