Respiratory Therapist/Sleep Technician ***Weekly Gross Up To $2650***

A facility in Carthage, New York is looking for an experienced Sleep Study Technician for a 13 week local of travel contract with possibility for extension.

• Night shift, 13 weeks
• 8.0 hours shift, 5.0 shifts/week
• Pay Package:
• Travel Weekly Rate - $2650 gross weekly blended
• $1489 is weekly taxable income
• $413 is weekly non-taxable per diem stipend
• $748 is weekly non-taxable housing stipend
• $2200 estimated weekly take home
• Local Hourly Rate $62/hour

Sleep Study Technician Requirements
-must have 2 years experience as sleep tech
-RRT will be considered if there is sleep study experience

```Sleep Study Technician Responsibilities```
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate respiratory care plans
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patients' progress, symptoms, and vital signs during therapy
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory treatments and disease management
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
- Respond to emergency situations requiring respiratory support

```Sleep Study Technician Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Certification or licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and patient assessment techniques
- Knowledge of critical care procedures and airway management
- Familiarity with acute care settings such as hospitals
- Strong understanding of human physiology and anatomy
