Position Summary:
Demonstrates proficiency in the use/operation of respiratory equipment and provision of respiratory treatment to assigned age specific patient population (e.g. infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics) and participates in related continuing education. Provides care to assigned patients according to professional standards and established procedures, using good judgment and personal initiative.

Requirements include:

• Graduate from an AMA, CoARC or JRCRTE approved Respiratory Therapy program

• Must possess excellent assessment skills to floor therapy and patients on mechanical ventilators.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

• Two (2) years experience in an acute care facility

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care (preferred)
