RECENT ICU EXPERIENCE A MUST
**Current CA license as Respiratory Care Practitioner Required**
Requirements:
• CA RRT License in hand
• 2 years of EXP dedicated in peds at a children's facility
• Exp with trachs and vents, suctioning and oxygen. No specialty or blood gases needed.
• ICU experience
• BLS
• PALS
• NRP (must be Advanced, Essential no longer accepted. Must have in-hand or registered for an Advanced class in which they will have in-hand prior to start date)
6 days RTO max, All RTO required up front, no exception
Patient Population:
Pediatric Care from acute care on the floors, pulmonary floor (treating pts with asthma, bronchiolitis, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, cystric fibrosis, tracheostomy-ventilated support), trauma, Medical (treating pts with bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia), PICU (treating mostly intubated pts and therapies including specialty gases heliox/iNO) NICU and CTICU where heart transplants are performed. High acuity Level 4 NICU. High acuity patients on floors.
