Responsibilities
What You'll Do
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering efficient, effective, and quality respiratory care. The successful candidate will be able to:
- Administer oxygen, various treatment modalities, and ventilator management
- Demonstrate knowledge of specific conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies
- Communicate therapeutic interventions to nursing and medical staff
- Document therapy and patient response to therapy
- Respond as part of the Rapid Response team
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
- Associates degree in Respiratory Care required
- Oklahoma state licensure in Respiratory Care required
- NBRC registry for RRT or CRT required
- Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility
- Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills
- Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions
- Ability to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others
- Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful situations
- Demonstrate maturity and accountability
