Respiratory Technician

Role Overview

Skilled in drawing blood for tests, transfusions, donations, or research, and may also explain the procedure to patients and assist in the recovery process.

Procedure

• Venipuncture,
• Capillary puncture,
• Blood specimen collection,
• Specimen processing and handling,
• Infection control practices,
• Patient identification and verification,
• Therapeutic phlebotomy,
• Blood donation procedures,
• Pediatric phlebotomy,
• Geriatric phlebotomy.

Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)

Certification and state licensure required in some states.

Requirements

• BLS, ACLS
• DL and SS Card required for submission
• Covid Vaccination (Exemptions allowed)
• Flu Vaccination
• Updated resume
• 3 references Names and Places worked. (Nurse Manager, Supervisors)"

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
