ALOHA, seeking a local Project Coordinator candidate
1 year Contract, Full-time, 100% onsite in Honolulu, Hawaii
Description:
Looking to find a Resource Planner to help bridge the gap between the Engineering Team and Operations Team with the execution of various projects. The team is divided into 3 groups - planning, engineering, and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders, gather requirements, and ensure all equipment needed for projects according to the Engineering team is prepped for the Operations team for construction
- Build construction packages and make sure all paperwork and necessary documents are prepared
- Ensure all parts are prepped in the receiving area
- Schedule meetings between stakeholders and ensure timelines and expectations are met
- Keep track of all project orders, objectives, goals, and timelines
- Update project system records and ensure documentation is up to date
- Handle and prioritize multiple projects at a time
- Follow standard workflow for engineering projects; apply economic analysis techniques and adhere to budgeting and approval processes in project development
- Excellent written and oral communication between all groups (including finance departments for forecasting, cost, and timeline requirements)
- Consistent collaboration between all stakeholders
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze and recommend enhancements to business processes
- Collaborate with others within the workgroup, department, or other corporate entity as necessary to complete routine activities
- Demonstrate the ability to extrapolate beyond known facts to reach logical conclusions
- Demonstrate an attitude and desire to listen to and satisfy both internal and external customers who use and depend upon their organizational unit
- Use initiative in looking for opportunities and presenting new ideas and new approaches
- Use initiative in looking for opportunities to increase job knowledge and technical skills.

Requirements:
- Basic level knowledge of communications technologies and inter-networking principles of the industry
- Technical aptitude and internal system competency
- Demonstrate competency in analytical techniques necessary to handle assignments of moderate complexity. (e.g., by dividing the problem into component steps, and performing the analysis necessary to complete each step.)
- Exhibit understanding of pertinent telecom equipment, materials, systems, and business processes
- Exhibit ability to understand interrelationships between systems and component equipment
- Demonstrate ability to analyze and recommend enhancements to business processes
