Turf Valley Resort is looking for a Resort Recreation Managerto oversee the entire operation of recreational facilities at Turf Valley Resort, including the Pool, Fitness center, indoor/outdoor activities, playground, and various adult/family/youth events. Working closely with the Director of Golf and Director of Membership, the Manager is responsible for creating innovative and engaging recreational activities for guests and members.
Job Requirements
- Manage day-to-day operations of recreation departments to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Position recreation offerings as a competitive advantage. - Possess comprehensive knowledge of the hotel's products and services.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe environment, following safety protocols.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate associates, overseeing team members involved in recreation activities and functions.
- Monitor activity success through participant numbers and guest feedback, making adjustments for quality and originality.
- Willingness to assume additional duties or responsibilities.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recreation administration, including program creation and supervision.
- Energetic and dynamic with a positive and motivated attitude.
- Excellent teamwork skills, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
- Hands-on professional with a passion for hospitality, excellent customer relations, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Result-oriented, proactive, with the ability to lead, motivate, and improvise in various situations.
