Seasonal Pool Manager
This position will anticipate the member & guest needs and provide a memorable experience. Reports to:Assistant General Manager
Supervises: Seasonal pool staff
Essential Functions
- Communicate in a professional, clear and concise manner to members, guests and staff
- Assist pool guests with requests and concerns, and take appropriate action
- Update all pool-related information on company website, flyers, slideshows, etc. to maintain current information
- Oversee and maintain the safety of facility patrons. Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions
- Recognize and respond to emergencies effectively. Appropriately document all emergencies
- Maintain a professional appearance and wear required uniform
- Maintain records, reports, and information including, but not limited to, the following:
- Chemical readings
- Daily Attendance
- Daily weather conditions
- Incidents
- Schedule, supervise, and oversee seasonal pool staff including lifeguards and front desk attendants
- Supervise and perform the general care and cleaning of the entire facility and the maintenance and minor repair of equipment
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Requirements and Qualification
- Strong communication skills and command of English language
- Red Cross or equivalent certifications in CPR/AED, First Aid and Lifeguard
- Montgomery County Certified Swimming Pool Operators License
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where change and improvement is always present
- Availability to work an open schedule to include mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation. No public transportation is available
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time outdoors in hot, humid weather
- Bending, lifting, squatting, walking, pushing and pulling equipment
