Residential Roofing - Field Service Representative (Project Manager)

We are seeking a Residential RoofingField Service Representative (Project Manager) to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.

We are looking for an organized, knowledgeable, rockstar of a Field Service Representative who can be a hands-on and immediate contributor to our team. This job will require training on, and proficient knowledge of, roofing systems. As well as extreme competency with scheduling crews, interfacing with crews and subcontractors, problem solving, interacting with clients and our sales team, etc. This position will require you to go up on roofs - so you can't be afraid of heights and must routinely carry 50+ pounds of materials!

Leadership starts at the top - so you'll be trained on how to perform roof repairs, how to install materials, etc. (very little if any of your time will be spent doing these things - but it is crucial you know how - so you should be capable and handy). Experience in the roofing industry is absolutely a plus, but not a deal breaker. You should be handy, skilled, and want to work with a team of professionals in a job that has lots of variety and compensates well.

Responsibilities:

• Must understand, and adhere to, Florida roofing installation laws.

• Identify roofing issues. Both on commercial and residential properties.

• Speak knowledgeably about multiple roofing systems.

• Detail Oriented - Accountability

• Be capable of backing up trailers and using a pickup to safely maneuver while towing.

• Good communication skills - take responsibility and be responsive

• Tracking data in spreadsheets, etc.

• Using online software & CRM

• Use given technology proficiently- record activity on computers - sending emails, etc.

• Work with crews to repair and replace roofs utilizing various roofing products.

• Photograph and do quality control, inspections, and maintenance on existing roofs

• Schedule and complete roofing projects in a timely manner and within budget.

• Execute all pre-construction, construction, quality control, and post construction responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Must currently be, or able to become, credentialed by the International Code Council (ICC)

• Prior experience in construction project management.

• Prior experience in roofing is preferred.

• Spanish speaker (not required, but helpful)

• Must be comfortable working on a roof, using safety equipment

• Must have valid drivers license with no DUI's or problems

• Knowledge of common roof types and systems.

• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Deadline and detail-oriented

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
