General Overview:

Full Time in one of the following locations:

ARCXIS is seeking Residential Plumbing Designers and engineers with a wide range of experience who are skilled in residential design. Designers and engineers collaborate and coordinate with fellow engineers, and designers to ensure cross department Engineering and Design integration to facilitate stakeholder satisfaction with projects.

Salary will be commensurate with experience as we are seeking individuals both licensed and non-licensed.

Specialized Experience Needed:

• Three to five or more years experience in Residential Plumbing design to include: Waste/Vent Design, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematic, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing in AutoCAD
• Plumbing Engineering and Design of single- and multi-family, low- and high-rise residential design plans
• Generate detailed Plumbing Design drawings in AutoCAD for construction documentation of design plans for bidding and construction
• Prepare Construction Documents in AutoCAD
• Work with design staff and drafters to complete project

• Compute dimensions from architectural plans

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the NSPC (National Standard Plumbing Code), ICC International Codes, and Uniform building codes
• Drive deadlines in dynamic and fast-moving environments.
• Team players with exceptional interpersonal skills at all organization levels.
• Self-directed, with good initiative and a great multi-tasker
• Strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft word, Excel, etc…)

Requirements, Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent comparative experience.
• Preferred 3+ years’ experience in Plumbing Design for residential building systems, code compliance, and construction.
• Plumbing Design experience with production of Waste/Vent Design, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematic, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing.
• Plumbing Design experience with mid-rise multifamily buildings, mixed use buildings, residential and enclosed parking garages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
